Wayne Crawford: CSW, retired U.S. Army, former COO Harry’s Farmers Market, monthly wine column for “Smoke Signals” in Big Canoe, is writing a book on Georgia wines (to be published in 2018), certification as a French Wine Scholar and Champagne Master level certification, French Wine Society; a qualified judge American Wine Society; frequent judge at Southern wine competitions. Gil Kulers: Culinary Institute of America, former editor, The Atlanta Wine Report, former wine columnist, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, former retailer, currently sommelier, Piedmont Driving Club. Challenge Judge 2016, 2017.
Jon Mattson: CSW, Resort dining manager, Barnsley Gardens; Introductory Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers; extensive restaurant management experience.

Teresa Meggs: CSW, certified sommelier, French wine scholar, WSET. Challenge Judge 2016.
Scott Montgomery: A graduate of the American Wine Society’s Wine Judge Certification Program and an Italian Wine Specialist. He has judged at numerous competitions and serves as judging coordinator for the Alabama Winemakers and Grape Growers Association amateur wine competition.
Terry Morris: Noted Atlanta wine collector, member and frequent office Sommelier Guild of Atlanta, frequent wine judge.

Beverly Taylor: Wine journalist, former wine columnist with the “Birmingham News,” photographer and freelance journalist; frequent wine judge. Challenge Judge 2015, 2016
Mead Judging Team:
Keith Fielder: Award-winning mead maker specializing in melomels; director, University of Georgia Honey Judge Program; teaches mead judging techniques; 15 years’ experience judging mead locally, nationally and internationally.
Brady Bedingfield: Has taught mead making; judged mead at local home brew competitions; and has won a medal with his mead in the Peach State brewoff.
Robert Brewer: Retired UGA County Extension Coordinator for Towns and Rabun counties; certified as an international honey show judge by the Welsh Beekeepers Association in 2001; accreditation in Mead and Honey Wine judging in 2010 by The Federation of Mead and Honey Wine judges, Yorkshire, England. Currently senior Welsh Honey Judge and Program Director Emeritus for the Young Harris Beekeeping Institute and the Florida Bee College.
Nate Watkins: Beer Judge Certification Program – Certified Judge (National rank pending); judged multiple mead and cider competitions, including three Best of Shows; Bronze medal winner for cyser at the 2017 Domras Cup (a mead-only competition founded by the Savannah Brewers League)
